Zeera Rice Recipe

Ingredients

2 cup Rice
4 cup water
1 onion chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon ghee
2 cloves

Method

1. Wash 2 cup Rice and then soak it in a 4 cup of water for at least 1 hour.

2. Heat ghee in a pot and splutter 1/2 tsp cumin seeds add cloves and sliced onion. Once the onion became light brown add the drained water from the soaked rice. Let it boil. Now add rice and mix well.

3. Bring the rice to a good boil for 2-3 min, and then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the lid and cook for five to six minutes, Top with chopped coriander and serve hot. enjoy jeera rice with dal.
