5-6 Medium size Patatoes
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
How to make Potato Gulgule
1. Boil Patatoes in pressure cooker for 5 minute.
2. Peal patatoes and Mash very well with a fork or vegetable masher. Mix the sugar with the Patatoes as you go on mashing. (You can also use brown sugar or jaggery).
3. Add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour to the mashed Patatoes and sugar mixture. For a more fluffy texture beat with a help of egg whisker. Add water if required to make a perfect batter. The batter should be slightly thicker than a pakoda batter.
4. Heat oil or Ghee in a deep kadhai. Add spoonfuls of the batter in the oil. Fry on medium flame. Keep turning for even frying till they are crisp and golden.(If you do not want to deep fry, then you can also make these in an waffle maker.)
Serve gulgule hot with Chai.
